A wise woman once asked me who my favorite bible villain was and my answer as the title states was Delilah( my homegirl). Many people won't understand the connection with Delilah (I can't say respect, she's still a biblical villain).
My examination is from the perspective of an article I read not so long ago,the story was analyzed from a feminist perspective suggesting that Delilah was not necessarily a traitor, but rather a strong and empowered woman who was able to manipulate Samson for her own ends.
This story revolves around issues of one-sided love, betrayal, because incase anyone forgot what happened; she cut his dada.
Samson who had already caught feelings thinking our residential barber (Delilah) was his girl but she wasn't , babes just wanted to get the dough and bounce.
Delilah is a bad bish all in all, while some people are making braids and twists for their babes, some were training to become award winning barbers. It doesn't help that in all the bible illustration I have seen, baba was sleeping on her lap( relationship goals gone wrong) and does anyone else notice the amount of tiro that Delilah uses, it's giving *laughs in face card doesn't decline*. Her face always reminds me of this meme-
More Delilah influenced stories to come, this is just a preamble, till we meet and please don't cut anybody's son's hair. Ire oo.
P.S: this post is just for entertainment reasons😘
Go! Go on!
Babes, I am the wise woman. Delilah and Jezebel were powerful women can't deny the fact that they were phenomenal — even they did the wrong things. 😂😂😂
